RIP To The King
Tasia keep Heroes are remembered Legends never die Like a flame that never dies Legend, loved, looked up to Was gone in June But the tune remains. Heroes are remembered Legends never die The rumble of his art That everyone mumble. Heroes are remembered Legends never die The King of pop Flopped on pills Even though he made thrills That gave people chills. He will continue to carry his legend . Legends never die. Simile- “like a flame that never dies.” comparing him to a flame that won't die because he carries out his legacy through his music after his death. Onomatopoeia- The noise rumble, showing people that his music is loud and people playing it would play it loud and proud. Rhyme- The rhymes throughout the poem give the reading a pleasure, to where the work has a nice tone and engages the reader more. I choose to rhyme the word June with Tune because his music is played after his death. The words rumble with mumble due to people talking about his music. Finally the words pills, thrills and chills due to the rest of the rhymes of leaving his music with people after his death. Repetition- The line “heros are remembered, Legends never die.” is repeated multiple times throughout the poem to show that he has left an everlasting impact on people. And his music will be played forever making him a legend. Alliteration- The line “Legend, loved, looked up to.” the letter L is used to start each word and describe his characteristics. |
